Teamsters Local 120 has sent everyone an application for membership in the mail. For your convenience we have also sent a self addressed stamped envelope. Please return your application as soon as possible. This is the first step in forming a union at Barilla. Base on the feedback we receive we will move ahead. If you believe that Barilla Pasta in Ames IA. could be a better place to work, join us and bargain collectively with Barilla. If you stick together and trust each other things will get better at Barilla.

Welcome Barilla Pasta Workers
This site is dedicated to Barilla Pasta workers in Ames Iowa who want to form a union with Teamsters Local 120 and bargain collectively with their employer for better wages and working conditions. In these tough economic times it is stressful for every family when it comes down to what will happen at work.
The bottom line is if the employees of Barilla Pasta in Ames want a contract they are the ones that will make it happen. Not the Teamsters Local 120. We are here to help you and guide you along the way but it is your union.
The election will be successful because it is being handled by the workers for the workers as a group...all for a contract.
